FireKing, a security and loss prevention company in New Albany, Ind., wanted an eye-catching box to promote the launch of its new FireShield filing cabinet. Given the repeat order volume and size of the box litho printing would be a two-piece process and the costs would have been unreasonable.

The Results
Touchpoint printing, consulted with PRP as their high-graphics job pre-press and printing plate maker of choice. PRP then took an art file that was designed for litho printing and made prepress adjustments to output a digital dot replicated proof that is then shown to a customer as their art but converted into flexo printing.
While litho printing would have been the logical choice, we were able to achieve litho-like quality using ExSpect plates and flexo printing.
